Hello. My name is Bri, but I spell it like Bree for privacy purposes. I am starting/re-launching this blog because I am an American. I am an African-American ADULT woman, and like a lot of you, I am very shocked by the state of our country. Our current president is insane. People who voted for him are now mad. We are 8 months in. 8 months. 8. In 4 years, aliens will supernaturally morph the faces on Mount Rushmore into frowns. Abraham Lincoln’s ghost will haunt the United States for centuries to come. I am beyond embarrassed. America is hosting the Summer Olympics and the World Cup in a couple of years – I’m not sure if anyone is going to show up. 

Like many people after the election, I said, Okay, I’m done with this. Bye. I will no longer help the public or racists understand why racism ruins not only America socially, but also economically – look at what’s happening to Target. Additionally, after news of EM publicly doing an anti-semitic salute during the 2025 inauguration, and multiple people online excusing it as EM possibly having autism, I knew it was time to check out. World War II ended 80 years ago, which ended a systematic genocide that killed six million Jewish People over 12 years. It’s disgusting, archaic, appalling, unforgivable, and criminal. EM should have been charged with a hate crime. 

Then in July, I decided to listen to some left-leaning podcasts, and boy, was I in for a ride. What the f*** is happening?  There is a cover-up that I believe is bigger than Watergate happening with our current administration. People are getting arrested for no reason. People are getting fired for doing their job. I visited the Dollar Tree, one of my favorite stores, and was saddened to see the tariffs already taking effect. There has been a .25 cent hike on essentially household items. This hike may seem small, but I don’t think people understand that it’s going to get worse in more ways than one.
